2025 was a very bad year. 2026 doesn’t promise to be much better. There are signs of hope, but it may be too little, too late.
Every now and then I have to put my rage on paper, or in this case on my blog. I know it doesn’t make a difference. Those who want to see have already looked up. There is nothing you can do about stupid, except stop him.
It is always like walking on eggs to express opinions which go against the Lobbies and powers-that-be in the EU. The march to repress freedom of speech and of thought, especially in denouncing genocide and war-mongering, has gone much further and much faster than I thought possible.
Passive Resistance to Fascist Takeover

I have to applaud the millions of Americans who are standing up against the US regime’s march towards the dystopian totalitarianism which Trump’s IT-AI Oligarchs, Zionist financiers and Military Industrialists put on their Christmas wish-list. Yes, Trump is a fascist. The protests give some hope where there is less and less reason to have any. But I fear it is too little, too late.
As what we can only call “masked goons” roam the streets at night to abduct, Gestapo-style, people off the street, by-passing due process at every turn, I have to admit there is more stupid in the US to support this crap than I had feared. And who in the military and other organs, where people swear “to uphold and defend the Constitution,” is respecting that oath? They are merely following (illegal) orders.
No, Trump is not really deporting more aliens than the Democrats. He is just doing it in a way which erases the pretension that there is a rule-of-law, so he can usher in the absolute, Oligarch-run, Techno-fascist regime that has been bought and paid for.
Yes, I support the protesters. But I realize it will take something much more radical to fight what has taken power in the USA. And it is that something Trump is trying to provoke with his aggressive, police-state actions. When the violent backlash comes, as it will have to, he will use it as the pretext to finally lock down what little will be left of America’s air of liberty. Stupid will back him. The Oligarchs and Zionists will dance, as they are today.
I fear it is too late. The Democrats, who I blame for getting us into this mess, as they serve the same masters and give lip-service to the public, try to fool people into believing this can be reversed through elections. I hope you make me eat my hat in November.
You need to ask yourself what do you do when “Refuse and Resist” doesn’t cut the cake? What can people do when they are in the most dire conditions? “Revolution is the Hope of the Hopeless?” It seems most pessimists are predicting civil war. I have seen stupid everywhere online wishing for the civil war scenario.1

The optimists, like the Jews who stayed in Germany after 1933, believe they can force Trump out at the ballot box. I truly hope they are right.
For the record, I am opposed to illegal immigration. I believe in the rule-of-law and due process. If we stopped destabilizing other countries, stealing their best brains and resources, imposing repressive regimes, it is obvious that fewer would try to flee to the source of their country’s misery.2
Israel Lobby Led Charge Against Free Speech
Trump’s rich Zionist donors didn’t have to wait for Trump to attack free speech. They made great progress under the Democrats in censoring students, faculty, college presidents and ordinary citizens: who can forgive President ‘Genocide-Joe’ Biden?
The Israel Lobby had the backing of Democrats, Clinton, Nuland, Blinken, and Republicans. The whole Congress, minus a handful, gave Netanyahu 57 standing ovations while he massacred Palestinians, by the tens of thousands. Democrats are just as paid off by the Lobby as are the Republicans.
Trump only took what Democrats had been doing to a whole new level. He also put those who had shut down free speech under President Biden in the same bag as the protesters, labelling them the “radical left scum,” and threatening to jail them too. What’s good for the goose ….
Already under the Democrats, there were calls that anybody criticizing Israel should be thrown out of the country if they were Aliens, while many citizens were fired, expelled from college, fined and even jailed.3 It is hypocritical for democrats to denounce Trump’s authoritarianism today.4
Much of this is being led by the “Israel First’ Lobby. A third of Biden’s cabinet also held Israeli passports. Why should we expect less of Trump?
The good news is people are not being silenced by the ‘Antisemitism‘ blackmail any more. Most people in the world see Israel for what it really is. More and more Jews are also voicing “Not in our name!“
For the record, I believe the creation of Israel was a terrible error. Zionism is, and has been since its inception, a racist, Jewish supremacist, ideology of colonial expropriation by any means, including genocide and ethnic cleansing. It has been October 7, 2023, for the Palestinians since 1948. (N.B. denouncing Jewish supremacists is no more racist than denouncing White supremacists)
I regret that writing this opinion can get me arrested, tried, fined and even jailed in many EU countries for ‘apology of terrorism,’ ‘inciting to racial hatred,’ or the crime of ‘antisemitism’ even though I am none of those things. The Zionists have led the attack on free speech and thought.

It Is Never Either / Or
Of course, you can be anti-Trump and anti war. You don’t have to embrace aggressive imperial expansion to oppose fascism, as Democrats, globalists and European Social Democrats would have you believe.
The western media, talking heads and politicians will tell you that you have to:
- support NATO expansion up to Russia’s borders despite promises in 1989 not to do so;
- reject Russian security concerns and 20-years of warnings to stop expanding NATO eastwards;
- call Ukraine, which is the most corrupt country in Europe, “a democracy”;
- Call a “popular revolt” the 2014 Kiev coup led by Bandera fascists and neo-Nazis that overthrew an elected president, who had just signed a deal brookered by the EU for early snap elections;
- ignore the post-coup, immediate, repression and disenfranchisement of the ethnic Russian citizenry, the mass-murders of ethnic Russians in Odessa (May 2014) and the killing of up to 14,000 ethnic Russians in Donbas between 2014 and 2022 (OSCE).5
Trump’s rhetoric, saying he wants peace, is just catering to stupid so they will back him as he tears up any ‘international rules-based-order,’ and prepares his own adventures of plunder and destruction.
Trump continues Biden’s enabling of Israel’s genocide and theft of Palestinian land, bombing Iran, Syria, Nigeria, and now provoking war with Venezuela. He is looking for confrontation with China and trying to reimpose the Uni-polar world that existed during President Clinton’s aggressive NATO expansion, bombings around the Middle East, the War against Serbia and more.
He is tactfully dividing Americans into hostile tribes, hoping to create the confrontations he needs to justify all-out fascist, military rule.
If ever we needed proof it is not the man, nor the party, but the system that needs to be changed, this is the moment. Trump has drawn back the curtains so that even those who couldn’t yet see, have to look up. Except for stupid, of course.

- I also believe countries have the right to decide who comes in and who does not. People who immigrate to a country should adapt to its culture and values and not create enclaves where they impose the foreign civilization they came from. Indigenous people’s have the right to defend their way of life against foreign interruption, intervention and invasion, whether it be through massive immigration or military force. The past 40-years of uncontrolled immigration from completely different cultures to Europe, by people who either had no intention to, or were incapable of, integrating, have created an extremely dangerous situation of social confrontation. - I always told my students that if they wanted a career in the mainstream and legacy media, there are certain things they should not do: question the the Warren Report on the Kennedy assassination, challenge the official version of 9/11, and above all, never challenge Israel. - The press and politicians expressed a lot of outrage and solidarity after the Bondi Beach attack against Jewish party-goers. Yes, even during a ceasefire, Israel kills more Palestinians daily without the outraged expressing any remorse or criticism. These Israeli mouth-pieces have no right to condemn any massacre. There double standards are what helps create antisemitism. They are the perfect example of what Chomsky referred to in his Manufacturing Consent, as those who decry the ‘worthy dead’ while ignoring those they consider ‘unworthy.’ And yes, when Zionism repeats daily that the crimes they are committing are in the name of all Jews everywhere, some angry people will end up believing them. This is why it is so important that more anti-Zionist Jews get their voices heard. ↩︎
- It is ironic that in December 2025, Ukraine and the West basically put forward as a peace deal, the plan that Zelensky & Co. walked away from in Istanbul in April 2022, before Russia annexed Donbas. In December 2022, then German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, former French President François Hollande, and the former Ukrainian President Petro Poroschenko, all said the Minsk Accords were just buying time to get Ukraine ready for war. Like so many other facts, conveniently ignored by the loyal western press or deeply buried in the back pages. ↩︎
