What if the case was all because President Trump rejects needless war with Russia?
I am afraid the impeachment proceedings in DC have as much to do with rewriting history to make war as they do about getting rid of Donald Trump. The fact the press refuses to challenge the anti-Russian hysteria and set the facts straight is worrisome. Could hate for Trump be so great they are ready to stumble into yet another war?
Pull The Plug. Nail Its Coffin Shut!
In an interview with the Economist published November 7, French President Emanuel Macron said: “NATO is brain dead.” After nearly three years of attacks by President Trump and a rapprochement of NATO member Turkey with Russia, here yet is another nail in the coffin of an alliance that should have died with the fall of the Warsaw Pact and the Soviet Union in 1991.
This Pod Cast deals with the fact that the solution the West is pushing for today was put on the table by Syria and Russia in 2012 when Syrians approved a new Constitution which calls for multi-party elections. At the time, the West, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar thought they could overthrow the Syrian government. Now that they have to admit defeat, and while they still threten to attack Syria, they are trying to save one of the last Jihadi bastions so they have some cards to play at the negotiating table.
I am including the script below:
Emmanuel Macrons says Europe can no longer rely on the US for its security. He is calling for a European defense initiative which could sideline Nato and has begun bilateral talks with potentially willing EU members. He is even ready to discuss a separate security partnership with Russia. But so far the response is cautious. Europe does not seem ready for France to lead another Grande Armée.
Europe is taking off its gloves and lashing out at the US president in unusually strong language, and, in this case, the EU has the support of its population. The question is can the EU muster the muscle to face down an aggressive US?
“With friends like that, who needs enemies?” Donald Tusk, European Council President, May 16.
“The first casualty of war is the truth.”
Reporting on Syria in the Western media is as close to fake news as propaganda can get. It is the most one-sided and on-side messaging we have seen since NATO intervened in Libya to put Sunni extremists and al Qaeda sympathizers in power.
First, the rebels in Aleppo are al Qaeda’s Jabhat al Nusra Front forced by the US to change their name last Summer to Jabhat Fatah al-Sham. These are Sunni extremists who slit throats on camera, kill minorities, especially Christians and Shiites, throw civil servants off the roves of five-story buildings (people like postal workers and clerks), send suicide bombers into markets and so on. (see 2013 BBC report) These are the people the United States, Saudi Arabia and Turkey have been financing, arming, training and now the loyal western press crying over.
Was Ambassador Christopher Stevens running guns to Syria for the CIA when he was killed in September 2012 in Benghazi? New evidence points in that direction. The United States has been repeatedly accused of arming Syrian Islamists, in part with Libyan weapons shipped through Nato to Turkey and then over the border. An interview in Aleppo by a German reporter (1), released this week and given wide coverage in Germany and Russia but little elsewhere , brings further proof to the allegations. But US complicity with the Islamists goes much deeper.
