A Gaza Palestinian student has been deported from France to Qatar for allegedly sharing online antisemitic, even pro-Hitler, posts. Her treatment underlines the double standards in France when it comes to dealing with hate speech, racism and ‘terrorism.’

Why do we Americans say “We” or “Us” or “Our” when referring to our country’s actions even when we deeply disagree with them while the Germans and French, for example, distance themselves from that collective identity when critical?

At least this is the case for my generation and my father’s generation, a period of European immigration and descendants of slavery with a solid Anglo-Saxon education and environment. I can’t say whether this is true of post 1970s immigration from other parts of the world.

A journalist who exposes Israel’s Apartheid regime is labeled an anti-semite. When he calls Israel’s intent “Genocide,” the reporter might as well change professions if he ever wants to work again. They will make sure your reputation is ruined.

I have not been creative since Biden lied to the world by saying he saw the photos of an event which never happened: the beheading of 40 Israeli babies in the daring and successful Palestinian military operation on October 7. This was the first of many Israeli lies to come to justify the unbearable.

What happened in Oslo Friday is a tragedy but it is no different than what is happening in the world on a daily basis.  What is different is it happened to blond-haired-blue-eyed kids.  What I find outrageous is that all of a sudden we are shocked in our comfortable Western countries. There are some deaths that are worth more than others in our selective outrage. Let me explain briefly.

How much is Israel paying bankrupt Greece to prevent the Peace Flotilla from sailing to Gaza? It’s a legitimate question and would explain why George Papandreaou is committing such an act in favor of the Jewish state’s illegal and inhuman blockade of Gaza.  Even the Jerusalem Post raises the quesiton of Israeli economic pressure on Greece in its edition today.
